My invitation for my nights cooking which are February 4th and 5th, 2011.
The Loft Project is the brainchild of Chef Nuno Mendes and partner Clarise Faria. Nuno was once the chef of Bacchus restaurant in London where he made a name for himself as an upcoming talented chef. Shortly after, he set up a temporary supper club in a loft/gallery setting to experiment on dishes as he awaited the opening of his own restaurant Viajante.

As he settled into his own restaurant, he decided to open up his Loft Project to chefs from some of the top kitchens in the world. One of them was Mauro Colagreco, who recently cooked there for three nights in early October. Hence setting the bar of the type and caliber of chefs cooking there.

Since I come from a Private Chef background, these opportunities don’t come as easy since I don’t have a restaurant to call my own and to make a name for myself. Yet, as I do experimental dining events in unorthodox venues such as the V&A museum, London Design Festival, Blushwhispers private dining group in Berlin and at the Hering showroom, I’m finding my own sense of cuisine. With the help of opportunities like The Loft Project, I can further elaborate my vision and using a global platform to express my ideas and food vision.
I look forward to this dinners and ready to make new foodie friends in London. Thank you Nuno and Clarise!
